    Up and ready for hunt number two of the year. Hope it goes as good as number 1 did, only with a buck at the end of the track job....good luck to anyone else heading out on this nice chilly mid October morning, all the conditions are right for deer to drop here in the Midwest....

    Heading to the stand now, wind is throwing me for a loop, supposed to be out of the south, but it is actually drifting slightly out of the north, so changing my game plan a little, gonna hunt the same stand I killed my doe out of, it is better for the wind for now, and still do able if it changes to out of the south. The yotes are fired up this morning...

    In the blind now going to get a few hours in the stand this morning with my son behind the bow. Last night he shot over a doe he was shook up bad. Got love bow hunting. Good luck

    All set up, just about shooting light, borrowed some "scent wics" from the wife, might be a little early to use, but I put one down and soaked it in some doe pee, see how it goes. Hearing some movement around me but can't tell what it is....

    It is super super calm here, got yotes going crazy across the road, a rooster going nuts across the field, and cows doing there thing off in the pasture....
