We ended up having a good evening. We had a big flock of turkeys fly to roost close by and ended up seeing 3 bucks. A button buck, spike, and 2.5 year old 7 pointer. She didn't want to shoot any of them so we just enjoyed watching everything until it got dark.

Some of you may remember what happened to me back in November with my glasses fogging when I drew my bow to shoot at a great buck. Well I think this is the guy. And I think I'm sick all over again!

This is one reason why I have switched to contacts when hunting. They are a pain to deal with but are better than fogged lenses or my biggest issue was the top of the glasses being in the middle of might sight path when I was looking through my peep sight.

Will be heading out this afternoon for one last go at it. Have not hunted my property since the first week of December so hopefully gun season pushed some deer my way and they have stayed there...

It's been almost 20 years and other than age catching up with my eyes, it's been great.

In the stand at 3:10. Trying to break little limb that is sticking through the bottom of the stand. Harness won't let me bend all the way so I have to improvise. Get it broke, stand up and a doe sees me move. Statue time! She looks around a little, decides all is well and heads on to the foods plot. Hey, fawn, and a spike are now it there. I'd like to put my boot blankets on.

I thought it was the neighbor. Nope. It is the goob that parks at the neighbor to the east of them. All they have is 10 acres of pasture. He sets on the fence that borders the property to the north. They don't allow any hunting. He's not trespassing yet but he does shoot across the fence.
People like that aggravate me!
