Good job Anthony. You hunted your tail off this year.

I still have a day of vacation left so i might try to sneak out after lunch and get an afternoon sit done. Got my new rain jacket from Cabela's and the rain is supposed to let up for the evening. Got just a short time left to get it done.

Off work, grabbed a quick bite of lunch, changed clothes and headed to the stand. Hope something is moving with this front that's gonna be coming in. Wind looks right, the camera's say they are in here in the afternoons, just need one to walk out and give me a chance without a neighbors dog screwing it up again.

I'm live from the stand for the last time this season. When I leave today, the blind is coming home with me.

Time for some hail Mary calling and hoping for the best. :)

She took the other trail but there's still time left and I saw a deer. I chose not to hunt with a gun this year so that's how it goes.

Next year I'm going to get me some of those yellow highway deer crossing signs and put them up in front of my stand so the deer know where to go.

I am now live from the truck headed home. Well, to work actually. If I didn't have that I would still be sitting in the blind.

On the way to the truck I saw a group of 4 doe and a buck on the neighboring property. They looked at me, I looked at them, giving each other a silent tip of the hat and we went our separate ways. Kind of a neat way to end the season. Short of following a blood trail of course.

didn't see any more the rest of the night so I'm going to change it up. I'm heading out this morning to a spot 2 miles back in. I have a camera there I want to check. so this is somewhat of a scouting mission at the same time. I have been wanting to get to this spot since our late season started but work kept interfering. looks like I will be able to hunt it for at least the next three days. this is a low pressure area so I have high hopes that I can see deer there. I don't have service so i'll let you guys know when I get back. good luck to all!!!
