Thanks brother. All I know how to do is work hard. Maybe not smart, but hard. I'm going to double my scouting efforts.

I'm right there with you man. I never touched an arrow off at a deer this season but I did put a few coyotes down. Not the way I thought I'd break in my new bow but I'm not complaining one bit. Sucks not having deer meat but that was on me. Chose to pass on a struggling doe population then missed a doe shotgun season at a different property on an amateur shot. I've caught myself getting down about this season but then I just think how blessed I am to be able to enjoy God's creation. I love being in a tree over going to work any day.even if I don't see anything. We will get em next season!!! (Although the fat lady hasn't sung just yet) like food plot was saying weather is getting good here in the midwest. Have till Jan 17th here in Illinois. I'm in ultra rally mode. Lol

you had an awesome year! not to many people get to shoot at 3 deer in a season. I don't think you should mess with your scouting. sounds like you already know how to get on the deer. maybe just get your head straight again. then go over your equipment. maybe some 3d courses will help. these are some of the same things I have to address for myself as well. good luck!

Nope he only ran about 45 yards and then toppled over, when we went back to gut him and jumped a big buck, I'm going back out tonight and tomorrow. This is the worst weather we have had all year, rainy cold and windy but the deer were moving this morning, so we are pushing through.

Never got above 20* here with an average 13 mph wind.

Kind of glad the season is over here 'cause I know that I would be out there.

Good luck to all who are still at it.

good night in the monsoon freezing rain. had a six point come by at 5:00. he was only 20 yds just not enough points for our antler restriction. I am just happy my optimism paid off. these deer are going to start moving during daylight as long as this weather stays with us. now is a very important to pep talk yourself and stay positive. I tell myself before every outing that "today is going to be the day". one of these days it will!!!

I'm with ya Anthony. I'll be out this afternoon. Have to work the first half of the day. This is the coldest it has been all season here.
Got home last night, while shoveling the drive, I looked off to the west in the standing beans there were deer everywhere!!
    Good Luck and stay warm!!!
