My son and I are up and looking over a turnip plot. Leaves are getting hammered, haven't touched the turnips. I suspect too warm still! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Funny, last night while watching that buck with the busted tines eat, he must've been eating turnips or the radishes. He kept leaning his head back and rocking it from side to side like we was trying to get one of those turnip/radishes in his mouth and chew it up. He definitely was eating the greens but if a turnip came up he was on it. We've had 3 nights this fall that it has been down in the 20's so they might be eating a few of them.
In for a late season sit today. Going to where that bruiser gave me the slip back in mid November, and I haven't been here since. I'm hoping he's still around and wants to try that crap on me again, I got somethin for him. Only bucks today so if I show ya a bloody arrow, expect to see some bone!
Typical late season weather today got 8 inches of snow last night with another 8-10 expected today winds gusting over 30. Sitting back in the thick stuff hoping they will move through to get out of the wind. Good luck today everyone Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
