73 degrees when I went in. Nothing moving, trying again in the morning.

Welp. Shot a doe at 5:30. Didn't know how good or bad of a shot I made. Turns out I made about as good of a shot as I could have. But backed out anyway went to dinner with some friends and went and found the old girl.

Sitting in a ladder stand in some rolling hills with a creek in the bottom. First time I think I have had to run the AC in the truck on the the way to the stand in December. Crazy weather

Just had my morning hunt ruined. Just got situated over one of the last green fields on the farm and the guy leasing the land decided that today was a good day to plow it under! Done for sure now.

Not really. Turkeys have cleaned up all of the acorns. Apples are all gone and all of the soybean and cornfields have been plowed under. Had an extremely dry fall here so even my food plots are pretty much done.

Possibly the last hunt of the year for me. Nothing but tag soup so far and not real promising today with 50* temps, rain and fog in Michigan. I'm actually having to kill mosquitos...
