Hopefully all the ice and snow will be gone next week. I'm looking forward to getting out this weekend.

I'm hoping that they are moving in the western part of Missouri as well.

I would try just a straight grunt to start. If that wouldn't work I would do an estrus bleat followed by some tending grunts. And if that didn't work I would snort wheeze.

Had a good evening sit this evening almost got my first kill on camera, didn't end up getting a shot but I got my first deer on camera so that was excited and it's always a great sit when you see deer!! It was just a little spike but I would have been happy to put him down on camera

Thanks Jake. I am still pretty new to this, so any advice I can get, I will take! Ha ha!

No problem. I doubt that I should be considered a very good source for advice though. There are many on here that are much better than me.

I know it is late but it is the earliest I could get in the stand. I also have the right wind for this stand for a change. As I'm waking to the stand I bumped the really nice 10 that I had an encounter with during fun season. I'm hoping they feel safe on our place.

ImageUploadedByBowhunting.com Forums1449103628.620981.jpg Got all the steaks and stew meat bagged and going in the freezer, still have about 20 pounds of sausage to go. This is the official end of my 2015 season.

Don't know how to make it, and never have before. Would love some but we don't have a smoker or anything.
