Just got settled into stand I hung Saturday. So we'll see. Been getting pics of a pretty good sized buck on cam that's 20 yards away but they've all been at night. Don't really have anything trimmed in this spot so to get a shot at anything it's gonna haveta be a perfect spot. As you can see from pic there's not many openings. That's left, center, and right with a creek behind me that I could shoot into if also had some lanes cut. Oh well can't kill them sitting at home.
Live in the stand is SC. The rains have slacked off but the wind is still a bit strong. But hey, it's not raining.

My wind is perfect, however it is extremely quiet out here. Nothing moving yet. Giving it til 930 then gonna scout for an hour or so.

We just pulled up to park. Damn it's hot here. I'm sitting in the a/c another 30 minutes before I start to get dressed.
4 doe/fawn came through from where I jumped the buck. He snuck off, they proved he didn't blow the woods for me. Still frustrated lol
I would go more causal next time especially if you happen to shoot a deer. It can get kinda messy. Just food for thought.
