Had a chance at a nice 10. Just couldn't talk him in to coming closer. Must've been the doe I saw later that had his attention.

I hope so. Tough year so far. I could have had him with a gun, but I am Bowhunting?

I understand being tired, believe me. But I would have sleep-walked out there if I saw that clubbed freak that you saw!

Good grief, on second thought, I would have slept in the tree overnight!

That's thw type of buck that marriage counselers love to see.

No way I would oversleep, because I wouldn't be able to sleep.

2 of them were probably fighting over a doe right in front of your stand while the 3rd swung in and stole her from both.

Same way with us up here. First shooter I had was this morning at 130 yds. I'm hunting with a bow also.

That would definitely be a negative on letting him go. If I didn't shake myself out of the tree trying to get my pin on him.

I was thinking the same thing about 2 hours ago, but I don't have much to contribute sitting on the couch

Me either. We had or youngests birthday party. By the time that was over the wind was blowing pretty hard and from the wrong direction.
Back at it in the morning for me.

    Never understood this one.

Do they try to get a change every year and fail or has it not came up in a while by law makers to change it? Has to be the dumbest thing I have ever seen.

No hunting on Sundays in Maine either. I don't mind too much because I can pretty much go hunting whenever I'd like since I work from home and hunt mostly behind my house. If my work situation changes, I'm sure I'll start b*tching about it again
