***OFFICIAL 2015 Live from the Stand Thread***

I know last weekend in Northern Missouri for our gun opener on buddy of mine's farm the took 3 mature bucks and had plenty out of range running like there were on fire.

 

I dont know if any of you would be interested.. but I seem to recall some ppl getting a little pissy last year about ppl posting during gun season and picks of deer killed with guns.. so I created a fb group if any of you would like to join it and post what you are seeing or pics of what you have killed with a gun. I will be taking my wife out for her 1st ever deer hunt this weekend.. I hope she can get it done with the shotty! If she gets it done I also (the first time in forever) bought a gun tag for myself.. but helping her get her deer comes first!

Gun hunts and gun kills are welcome on here. From what I see this threads main message is about encouraging one another, not about how cool it is to be JUST a bowhunter.

 

Still kinda dumb, not posting the pics but shooting deer with guns.

Yeah I'm in Missouri today. I didn't buy any Illinois tags this year, so I'm stuck here. I just hunted the morning. I'm heading home to work on some traps and deer skulls.

I was just trying to help. if its allowed here then I will post here... Im excited to take my wife out tomorrow. Trying to tell her to hold off on smaller deer.. as many big bucks as we have running around she stands a good chance at putting one of them down. I will leave it up to her tho... Whatever she wants to shoot at, if it makes her happy... it makes me happy.

 

And he only hunts 1 or 2 days a year. Haha

Not going to get in the squabble, I along with many others have always posted during the firearm seasons. Many choose to use the guns some of us have no means to bowhunt through gun season.

We've had burd hunters posting in the thread before.

Most of us enjoy getting out(although at times it may seem like I don't ) more than one day a season. We're just not that elite.

 

I didn't post my gun kill this year for fear of causing a **** storm, but I don't see any reason why someone can't post their gun kill after they've been involved with this thread for their entire bow season or stop chatting with people on this thread just because they're using a different weapon. Just my opinion though

 

I mean if people want to split hairs, we all are a bunch of pansies compared to the guy that dropped a 160 class buck in Missouri with a dang atlatl.....this thread is titled live from the stand, who cares what weapon you are using or what you are hunting....

 

If I was hunting could I chime in with your permission? I am only here to root for Tony to win his bet.
