    Is that for real?

Can't imagine anything more than serious flash burn, maybe even cauterizing the wound channel

Nothing to contain the explosion to direct the projectile etc.

Yes it's for real. It's called a bow mag. I've seen test on watermelons and it's cool. Not very reliable and takes a high kinetic energy to work.

Yup and my Ruger bow moves my Hornady broadhead down range about 4 times faster.

I'm in the stand at a small family farm. There is only one buck that we have pics of that I would shoot. Its gun season here, but I couldn't make myself pick up the rifle. I'm just hoping to see some deer and enjoy the day.

Damn these squirrels are annoying. I'll have to come here after deer season and sling some lead on them.

That's most likely what will happen. I want to find these little bushy tailed devils and pick them off with my .22.

Doubtful. I tried getting slick today and it cost me. If I went to my usual spot, he may have walked right into me. I'm not happy where I'm set up at all, may have to bust a move here soon.

I believe he caught a wiff of me, but never spooked. He just angled off out of sight.
I can only hope that he's on the prowl, and we cross paths this afternoon.

He was a big, mature, typical 10 point SOB!!
