Well I'm heading out to the stand for the morning before the wind hits here for the next 2 days!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
All setup finally. Biggest cluster eff I've ever had. Got setup in the climber to realize I'm an idiot and up to high. Start to climb down and start getting blown at. Once I feel like I'm at a reasonable height I realize my climber is angled wrong... By now I'm completely sweating, dripping from my head. I climb all the way down to the ground. It's getting lighter and lighter out. I say screw it.. Grab my pack and bow and walk 50 yards to my hang on stand and get setup. I reach for my beanie/winter hat and realize I forgot it... Gonna be a cold day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hangin out with the cows this morning, hopefully they leave me alone. Heard deer running/chasing already. C'mon!!!!!
The doe who blew at me came back in within 50 yards staring at me in my hang on stomping her feet... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I am up and ready. Last day for me until at least next Saturday. Gotta get it done this morning. Good luck all! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Changed my mind on the way to the lease on where I was going to sit. All set up in a ground blind for our last day of gun season in my zone. Now that Rocky is gone I am trying to figure out what I would like to shoot since it was him or none until he was shot. Hoping a buck I call Ray Charles shows up. He isn't a giant but is at least 7.
Up here in ohio. Heard them moving before dark in the timber behind me. Hopping today is the day Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
35 degrees and a light N NW wind is perfect for this stand. Had a big bodied deer with horns come in before light and pee on my buck bomb. Wasn't going to hunt but mimi wanted the kids for breakfast so i'll sit until they get done. Beautiful morning and that buck got my blood flowing.
27 degrees and fog... 0 wind. Now only if the 200" buck would majestically walk out of the woods like in the tv shows... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not much cooler than hearing a red tailed hawk screech breaking the morning silence. God is so good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
