Yea I'm hoping it's a good sign of things to come. Saw little guys chasing today and checked cams and they were chasing hard on there too.

You're probably already going to do this, but make sure you go back in with binoculars and try to spot him with those first.

Take both, if I go to Calhoun that is exactly what I am going to do. It is legal as long as both firearms are legal by law. Can't conceal carry a .40 but can a .44mag

12 Guage would be my choice.
    Good luck!

So I've only seen deer in NC and SC from the highway when driving home from FL for work and they looked quite small. What's the average size (weight) 3.5 year old buck in that area?

Yeah, definitely too big of snout for a fawn. Crazy the size difference from north to south

Based on the size of the deer I saw from the highway when driving through at dusk, I'm going to say that's a mature doe. I thought they were dogs at first glance, but I never checked their lady parts for lactation

Wakey wakey!!!!!!!!! Last day of my vacation. Had a nice 2 day getaway with the wife, now I'm giving it till noontime today. For the first time this year I'll be hunting the edge of the swamp. It's about comfort today so I'm bringing the summit viper. I've decided to break out my camera gear for this hunt as well...
