Headed out in the morning before it gets too warm and windy.

Almost shot another doe tonight, but thought for sure she was being followed. I was wrong.
In the AM, I'm going to the spot I killed my bruiser in last year. 30 degrees, SW light wind, great conditions.
    Maybe I'll get lucky again.

    Our seasons are awful.

I'm thinking tomorrow should be a good day if this wind quits. It's really windy and still sleeting.

I know those winds are supposed to continue tomorrow, here in SE Pa. I HATE the wind when I'm hunting!! But, tomorrow will probably be my last all day sit for the season, so I'll deal with it. There IS a decent 8pt in my general area, had him at 45 yrds on Wednesday evening! That's too far. He was hung up with a doe.

Yep. I'll have my bow hoping for the same thing.
    Good luck!

So tomorrow, they are calling for mix precipitation with 15-20mph sustained and 35 mph gusts...

I don't want to go out in that.....

Same here, with a high of 40. Wish I could kill deer in 70° instead.

Likely to be my last sit until gun season next weekend.

Was a struggle to get up this morning, but I'll be hitting the road within the next 10 minutes or so.

    The struggle is real

In a tree heard all kinds of movement on my walk in I was being quiet so I can't say if I bumped them they were just running around it sounded like. Something damn near followed me to the about 50 yds from my stand and didn't move again until I made the transition from stick to stand ... It was a little weird.

Just pulled in. Getting dressed. Cold frosty morning. Wind isn't perfect but it's better than sitting at home wondering if mr big showed up.

Good luck to all be safe and shoot straight.

Feels like 24 with a hard frost and a light south wind. Will be out with the .270 here in central MN.

    Good luck guys.
