    Today is more about my buddy anyways. He heard a buck thrashing a tree and it got his blood pumping...heard chasing. This is what I wanted him to see and I pray he gets some action this afternoon.

    Lots of rain and more wimd coming next week. Lots of rain for MO/IL/AR and wind for everyone.

    Could bode well for the deer population and gun season concerns.

    This is a last minute plan. The wind has moved around to the SW which is all wrong for the stand that I have set up. Looks like I'll be on the ground tonight in a make shift ground blind.

    Into the same stand I had the encounter with the big 9 hopefully he shows his face again tonight and things pan out differently tonight.

    Winds are starting to mellow.
    Sitting near the edge of a cut corn field. I would love for a huge buck to chase a doe across the field and right to me, then I kill them both.
