    Mornin ya'all less than ideal conditions here in west central Indiana this mornin. Winds 10 to 15 out of NE and light rain until around sun up. 47 degrees.

    Headin to the stand regardless!

    Yah, way less than ideal conditions. I have to work all weekend at the hospital anyway so I won't be making it out before Monday. Good luck to everyone out there today and stay safe.

    Opening day for VT bow season!! In the stand at put the smack down on a turkey at 25yds. Pics when I get down. Waiting on a deer now. About 38 degrees this morning, steady wind out of the south east. Turkeys flew right into me. They messed around under the apple tree the a few of them walked out into my food plot. Had to stand up to get a good shot. Had ranged the spot earlier so all I had to do was settle the pin and squeeze. Good times.

    Not minutes after settling into the stand had a buck come in and work a scrape in front of me then go another 50ish yards and walk in front of my trail camera. Don't know what buck it was too dark - entry into this stand is risky in early October but I might have got away with it.
