    two BIG wolves just crossed the ridge behind me....hate those things, dnr put a trail cam on one of there dens not too far from here, took out 31 fawns in 2 months

    I think temps and full moon simultaneously turned it nocturnal.

    I haven't seen a buck from stand under 2 1/2. Granted, only seen 5, two before light, but that has never happened.

    Dogs are now on south end of property. Maybe they'll push something north over the next 45 minutes.

    Thought I was playing it smart this year not really hunting here until Halloween :lol:

    Dogs finally moved to neighbors property. Only reason I am still here is they never got in front of me. Now just need some hung up deer to continue their journey

    I was told tomorrow should be best day to hunt - of course I have to work. Our season ends Saturday. Hope to go out Friday evening and Saturday all day.
