uncles hounds just chased a rabbit through. Currently bawling and bellowing all through the woods. Think I'll sit until 9:30 and head home. I've just lost the drive today. Good luck to everyone else out there

I'm in the cheap seats cheering everyone on. One of the guys came in this morning talking about the monster that ran across the road in front of him with 4 does following him.
Glassing from the house. Saw a buck cruising through open field. I'm going take that as a sign and head out when I get from the store.
I wish it were strategy. I'm taking my lumps and accepting defeat. They're back for round 2. Just pushing anything further and further.
Debating on putting in an all day sit today.....rain coming in late this afternoon.. And according to the moon chart there should be a lot of midday activity.....I was supposed to get my dot physical today.... Do I go all in today? If I do I can't really go out he rest of the week... Killing me not being able to get out this week. if nothing else I wish I could be observing and learning about the deer on the property im hunting, this is my first rut and im sitting here at work missing it....bummer
Finally just saw a racked buck! He was running the down wind side of a bedding area. I'm just farther down wind than him. To thick to see how big he was
Uhh really loosing determination today marks 4 weeks since I've shot my buck and that was the last deer I've seen from a stand, and I've sat in 6 different stands as well. Really don't know what to do I'm just frustrated
I'm really not sure how you have deer left on your property with all of the stories you have shared from the last few days!
Not sure there is anymore. Seen a lone doe earlier, shortly befir I posted about does being bred or VD. I have not seen a doe and a buck together anywhere this year. I have seen 3 bucks during legal hours, most seasond I can see that in an hour several times over. Oh well, one more hour and I'm done until gun season on the 20th. Just glad I shot that buck Saturday, had I actually passed it I could have went deerless this entire season. It only gets tougher from here
I don't get the lack of activity.. Should be deer chasing all over here in my bottoms.. I have seen 2 bucks chase a group of does out in the bottom one night and 1 buck chase 1 doe threw the woods the other morning... That's it Sent from my LG-D800 using Tapatalk
