I got the LW hung in a new spot, closer to a pinch point where the predominant wnw wind will carry my scent right into a pond. Cleared some shooting lanes and pulled the card in my camera. Alot of daytime activity happening, nothing spectacular to show, but at this point it's all about getting some meat!!!
That stinks. And inevitably after you buy a new release you'll find the old one. That tidbit JZ offered about the reflective tape on his release is now looking like an even better idea. Fwiw, I also affixed a bit of 60 grit sand paper to the fingers on mine to add a bit more grip.
Concrete work done. Back in stand. Was already here so why not. 2 antlerless this mornin, one big doe. One of the other hunters killed a 90" 8pt and lost a doe. That makes 5 lost deer with shoulder shots. Uncle not pleased. Only here because it's noon on Nov 9th. 48 hours ago to the minute I shot a buck
Pretty cool, sitting here watching a bald eagle circling above. Wondering which wounded deer it may be eyeing. Been a lot of them around here lately. Wounded deer and bald eagles.
All set up. Sitting in stand I think I have hunted 6 times in 5 years. Multiple scrapes and fresh rubs. Looks like a highway. Sprayed some tinks 69 perfect wind. We shall see. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
