We saw a big crazy looking half rack on this field when we left last night. There are at least 3 mature bucks that use this on a regular basis. Hoping for some luck.

Damn turkeys, had me excited for a second, heard something behind me, knew it wasn't a squirrel, it's at least 3 turkey's, maybe more....

I'll switch stands 3-4 times a day sometimes. Often times between the same two stands. Whatever works

Man the woods are alive today, seeing everything but deer. Have so many animals around me making noise it's a little unsettling....add in the person down the road shooting off a gun and it's a pita trying to listen and watch for anything....

I figured I'd use the better late than never strategy.......I topped the hill and there in the food plot is a buck and doe......really? I'm in the stand now. We'll see what happens. Won't be able to hunt until Tuesday evening and Wednesday. Supposed to storm Wednesday. Thought I'd better get at it this evening.
    Good luck everyone.

Woods was crazy 20 mins ago, now the only noise is a couple of squirrels, all that commotion has me on edge just waiting for a deer to wander past. Hard to believe all this wild life here, but no damn deer.....

Debating whether to hunt in the morning. The woods were trampled today searching for bad shots. I can only hunt 3- 3 1/2 hours before having to head up and help my uncle.

Have 2 mornings for sure to hunt, tomorrow and atuesday and Wednesday morning will be iffy weather wise here.

It's the rut, but could use a sleep in too

In January when the season is over for 10 months, that extra sleep won't mean anything. Go and we'll watch each other's progress in the morning.

    Blessings......... Pastorjim
