Coyote, gave the little bastage a hair cut. Followed him through the scope and never opened other eye. 14yds instead of 35. He closed fast. Gave him a haircut Lost my arrow though
Got a glimpse of just how tall this overgrowth is behind me. More like 6-7' to my favorable wind side, they'd be right on top of me before I knew anything. About an hour until I seitch stands again.
Saw a young buck w/ doe and saw my first shooter in a week. Last day of vacation and NOW they're moving? Crap!
About to head up to the truck I think before stand switch. Not feeling comfortable only having 2 arrows. Choices, choices.... ugh
Should be hearing the others walking up any time, going to go it with 2 arrows. If I see two coyotes my day is pretty much done anyway. Not sure where all the deer on this side of the property are. Going to sit the same tree I sat yesterday. Good wind for it and it's where I need to be if they are cruising. Wind a bit gustier than expected. Was supposed to be SE 3-6. Still a good wind though
Hmmm. Getting off at noon today, contemplating an afternoon sit. Trying to decide on public land, where it would be a crappy half mile to a mile walk-in/drag out, or my lease where it would be at most 300-500 yard drag to the field, but have not seen any deer the last few sits in my lease....and to further complicate things have to be at work at 430 in the am.
Not mine either.. I switched trees and didn't see a thing. Decided to call it quits for a few hours and pull the card on my trail cam where I was this morning... Had a shooter there 1 hr after I switched trees! Ugggh Sent from my LG-D800 using Tapatalk
