Just had two does come running through. One of them kept looking back but so far nothing has followed them.

    Blessings..........Pastorjim

Put some garlic in your eyes, rub some salt in your cut, and play a small violin that only you can hear in the morning. You are destined for a 170 inch buck!

Turned out to be interesting night. After taking an hour to decide where I wanted to set up, had a good encounter with buck. A wide 7 point 3.5 year old was following a doe and then bedded 50 yards away. Tried grunting but had no interest.

Now to relax tomorrow and prepare for 6 straight days of hunting.

Good stuff Jake. Best of luck to you this week. As for me, I realized I have not drank a beer since my vacation began 10 days ago. What have I been thinking? (bucks). Slowing down and drinking some beer with the fellas tonight. Hitting it tomorrow afternoon.

Best of luck to all hunters tomorrow. Should be another outstanding "Live from the stand thread tomorrow"

Finny gets it done tomorrow. Tony gets it done tomorrow. Pastorjim gets it done tomorrow.

Had an eventful end to the evening. Right at last light had a bruiser come in the the trail I was set up on, just like I planned. He needed to go 10 more yards to my shooting lanes when the doe switched direction and pulled him away. Was a wall hanger for sure. So close. Be back in the morning.

I had a pretty good evening. A lone button buck, a doe with 2 fawns and a young buck (crotch horn or 6 point) all passed within range of me.

It's true but I thought anything over $600 payment is delayed.
