    Just had a doe come by at 43 yards. Just a little too far for my wife to shoot. She is getting impatient. I feel bad for the next doe or shooter that comes in range of her.

    Parents told me there were 6 different bucks cruising the edge of the bedding area near my stand this morning. One bedded down. Wish I had a second tag :/

    I like to imagine he just shot 14 1/2 deer and is dragging them out all at once....making up for lost time I presume....guys in MD deer nightmares

    Now that I am in this stand, I can hear someone to my NW(upwind) rattling. Been hearing it all morning but couldn't tell for sure. Explains the doe blowing from around that area on my way in and maybe lack of movement.

    Giving it an hour here. Going to sneak to the bottoms and see if anyone is sitting down there. If yes I go home, if not I'll stay til dark.

    Seriously thinking about going back to work Monday. This is ridiculous for this property. Either numbers are seriously down or something else is going on.

    Lol ended up seeing 7 deer total... Climbed down getting a quick bite to eat and heading to a more rural area to enjoy the views of fall and hopefully kill something. I could have shacwked a doe this morning but I just kept having visions of a buck coming out

    im back in three miles. only way to get away from weekend warriors. im here til dark. im hopeful for this evening. game commission was nice and made me a nice half acre clover food plot in the middle of these clearcuts.
