Have a doe bedded down at 70 yards. Got up for a moment due to a yearling running all over the ridge.
Have rattled twice this morning in low pressured area with no success... Yet. Will most certainly rattle again.
I think the deer are not use to these conditions... They want the 70 plus degree November back. I'm not blaming God, I'm just pointing my finger.
Nothing to report here so far. The tree rats and wood peckers are finally waking up and getting active Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
nothing here. just a covey of grouse. slowest day so far. just seems awfully dark still and its after 8:00
Heard 2 bucks fighting 20 mins before light...heard them again 40 min later.....unfortunately they were about 150-200 yards behind me....had a buck go trotting by 30 yards away couldnt get a good look at him
Not even 9 o'clock and my lunch is already gone. But I finished it off with one of those mtn ops energy shots. I'm more than ready for some midday bucks.
Good thing this dude decided to drive through the fields behind me to set up his target to sight in his rifle
Been sitting for about an hour and now some jackass is running around the property on a four wheeler. Listening to his travel path, it sounds like he has probably done a pretty good job of chasing any deer in the area away.
