They didn't stay long. Must not've liked the neighbors bonfire.

See you all in the hero shots!

Hitting the sack now, been getting in stand about first light lately. Thinking the next few days I need to get in 30+ minutes early.

Well idk what to think really, last I seen before climbed down she still had head up. Arrow is pretty clean and white hair stuck in bh.

Gonna give her over night and go looking first thing in morning. Lesson learned if your indecisive on taking the shot or not better to hang bow back up. I'll make a separate thread to keep everyone updated and what happens so don't clog up this one.

    From Joe..

"Nothin to brag about tonight...had a ten minute stare down with a fork at 5 yards who was on a doe...meanwhile a bigger buck (115") chased after the doe while I was pinned. Giving it half a day tomorrow then we're heading back home! So exhausted, disappointed and drained. You headin out tomorrow right? Hope you nail a GIANT!!!!!"

Began with that same spike you saw rattled in and ended with that 9 pointer walking past broadside at 15 yards - followed the script. Just not the one I am looking for, I can't shoot big mature whitetails shooting every 3.5 year old that walks past.

You have a good long day in the stand?! Back at it tomorrow?? Get some rest man.

All I saw was that little nine. I did however shoot my first coyote with a bow. I will post pics when I find him after the morning hunt.
