I feel his pain, but his is probably worse considering he had a hell of a drive to get here, and spent god knows how much money....hope he can close tonight or tomorrow....

first encounter with A buck this morning spot in stock I got within 40 yards in some really sick cover as he was moving to a creek bed. on my way back out now after lunch. He was a small eight point maybe 120 inches but for the public land I'm huntinghe's a shooter.

The squirrels and birds are hardly even moving. I'm convinced some weird phenomenon is occurring and we're the only species that doesn't know it

The deer woods have been poisoned! hahaha

Too hot to hunt right now so I headed out....shot my bow and washed all my stuff including my pack. Only thing I can do right now. Hope the constant grind pays off.

So will the moon guys use the temps as a cop out on their early rut prediction?

My buddy had his vacation this week. He seen deer every sit which is expected but no good bucks on their feet. We had shooters on cam during daylight every day up until Sunday night. He's praying this cold front helps. I'll be in the stand in the morning videoing him and possibly to try and take a doe.

I'm sitting at the dealership getting an oild change and rotate/balance.

Next 3 days I'll have 36'ish hours on stand if need be. Hoping that's all I need but have until the 15th and not much impactful weather to deal with until Wed/Thurs.

Leaving work in ten minutes - my hunting partner (aka husband) changed his mind. So, I'll be heading to our hot spot alone. He's only ever shot deer there when he was by himself. Hoping for the same!!

78 with swirling winds but atleast I'm only about 100 yards away from a house so I think they are used to human scent

When you have been seeing bucks at every property and have 3 properties and 14 stands to choose from... The decision is agonizing
