    Yeah, me too. Last year this week was awesome. I killed a nice buck and a couple of doe. The rest of my family also did well. This year, nada!

    We are in the stand and ready to send a buck to meet its maker. We are set up on the edge of a giant wheat field where my wife watched a mature buck with does a couple days ago. If he plays his cards right I'll give him a ride in my truck.

    Saw a doe and two fawns tonight. Might not seem like much to some, but my last record for deer seen in one sitting in that area was 1. I'm pumped. Wish the buck followed them in though.

    Should of brought my ruger, could definitely limit out on tree rats right now......

    I've been seriously considering taking my .22 along with me. They're dense where I've been hunting.
