My feeble attempt at a beard, but most is gray and invisible at night apparently :)

I'm out. Been sitting in the climber since about 0540. Not much going on in NJ. If there are any deer, they are nocturnal.

Cause it's November and in March and April we will be wishing for the chance to be sitting in a Treestand. The conditions might not be ideal but anything can happen
    Good Luck

And........I either left my seat cushion in the car or I left it in another stand. Either way, since I don't have alot of natural padding any more, I'm probably in for a sore butt this morning.

    Blessings........Pastorjim

No deer here in NJ, extremely disappointing hunts in September and now. I have never seen so few deer and so little movement. It's really bad. I think NJ biologists have achieved their goals with the unlimited antler less policy for archers and the harsh winter I'm sure didn't help. I think it's time to start reducing the kill. We would normally see 10-15 deer per sit here. I've gone 4 days now and only had 2 spikes under the stand. Besides that I've seen 1 doe and 1 large buck after shooting hours, while walking out. Very ruff!! Don't get me wrong I enjoy sitting in a stand but it's also nice to see deer.
