Decided to head to my lease instead of public ground. Figure I have to get lucky out here eventually...... Getting dressed and heading in, should be in and settled by 530....

Starting to think I shouldn't have had that onion bagel this morning. Waiting for shooting light. Supposedly going to rain soon. 36 degrees

A little warm here in nc but there was a lot of heavy rain yesterday that I'm thinking kept the deer from moving too much, it's supposed to stop here shortly I'm just having some light rain now, I believe today will end my 3 week of no deer, I've only sat in this stand 2 times during that period so fingers crossed it's time to see some deer! Good luck out there everyone

I couldn't go weeks without seeing a deer like some of you guys do...

If I don't see anything for 2 days in a row, I'm ready to quit....lol

Took me an hour to walk into unfamiliar territory. Things not looking 5oo hot. Have until 9 to hunt. Only thing I have working for me is the wind.

It's pouring down here ... It makes it easy for me though. Been stuck in a course the last 2 weeks and don't get off to 16ish. Looking forward to heading home this weekend / next week.

To bad I start my week to work tonight but in thinking my next week off is going to be good anyway since my cams are just now starting to show the bucks moving to different areas!!!

What makes me sick is I did change my vacation. Wake up this morning to a completely different forecast.

Was supposed to be 73 today 74 tomorrow and 73 Thursday.

    Now 64, 70 and 72 respectively.

    50's next week though

Getting back into the groove of getting dressed, in, and set up pretty quickly and quietly. Temps in the high 40s, slight breeze right in my face. Hoping something moves today, I'd be happy to just see a doe at least.....quick question, does anyone else wear a hand muff even if it's warm just for an extra pocket???

things very slow here still. everything is nocturnal. could change like a light switch. I think everything is a week late this year compared to last year. or might be one of those years where the entire rut happens at night. just stay positive and hopeful. only a this week and next week and our season is over until January.

I think you are gonna be better off with next week. I got back to work Saturday, work 4, then get 4 more off. Hoping that works out for me if I don't get lucky before then....

Good luck this morning guys. I'm still on vacation until next Tuesday night. My wife still has a tag so we will be trying to get her on a mature buck. She was tired and wanted to sleep this morning though, so that gives me a chance to get some things cleaned up and re-organized. Hope to see some blood spilled on here this morning.

Yeah I came a week too early to NJ. Last year this was an awsome week. This year it's too warm and the deer are mostly nocturnal. Next week highs in the 50's and lows in the 30's in NJ but I'll be back in VT. Ugh!! Three days left though, so still hoping. My son had a nice 8 on camera yesterday at 11:12 during the day, so they are cruising a little.

So I need ended an attitude adjustment.... Went to my favorite old stomping grounds where I have shot plenty of deer....the memories alone make this an awesome sit....saw one deer behind me while it was still kinda dark...now I'm just going to enjoy this morning with my Evercalm and vaginal secretions....:D

Do you think evercalm and the vagina secretions actually work?
