He didn't bed. Think he slipped by.

Just happened to look over my right shoulder and seen the weeds moving. Then the top of tines as he was moving through. Stuff is so tall I didn't realize just how tall. He was 30 yds the whole time but I couldn't see vitals, only his rack and glimpses of his head. As I was getting positioned to be ready for a shot I had to take my eyes off of him.

Once I got ready I could still see him there then he went down. I thought he bedded down, pretty much due north of me and a S to SSW wind blowing he is dangerously close to my scent stream. I don't think he bedded, think he hunkered down and snuck out. Gave a grunt a few later and he busted through the woods on the other side

Stuff is nasty thick and apparently 5 feet+ tall, a good bit taller than i estimated. Tapatalk won't upload the pic.

Got he old heartrate going. Probably a good thing he snuck off, may have kicked myself for shooting. Had an awesome caramel color to his rack. Tall and not overly wide looked to be an 8 but not really sure. Wouldn't have hit 130

He was about dead center in the picture.

Thinking about switching stands, that stuff is way taller than I imagined.

Don't know what to do lol, stay here on the bedding or move to the bottoms where cruisers roam.

Basically 11am old time when I seen him so midday movement for sure.

Yeah, as soon as I grunted I heard him crash into the opposite side woods.

Switching stands. Not liking the fusty winds picking up. Heading to the bottoms where cell signal fades

No deer yet. Just had a big gobbler land 40 yards away. Was gonna try and decapitate him, but he gave me the slip.
Been seeing/hearing them fly all morning. Wonder if yotes are cruising the area?

Stand switch complete. Should see them moving if they are. May not get a shot, but I'll be happy seeing them moving
