    Well I said I wasn't going to hunt today. But I woke up with out an alarm. It's raining, but not too hard. Guess I'll take waking up as a sign to go hunting....

    Barely rained the 40 min drive to my lease, get here, and now it is pouring pretty good, gonna give it half an hour to see if it lightens up a little before getting out and getting dressed. Got here early so plenty of time....

    What a cluster...got in the tree, rope caught on The bottom step. Get me and the stuff back up in the tree and the bubbas pull up in their truck (with no exhaust pipe or muffler) and are jawing so loud I can hear them 250-300 yds away.

    It must have worked. I think it will rain some but looks like the forecast thinks the storm has just about moved through.

    I have a stand with an umbrella, and I brought an umbrella for the walk in, and my bids and jacket are semi waterproof, I think I'll be fine....
