Wind laid here right at sundown. We still have quite a few leaves on the trees.

Finally getting to sit in my new set up, I'm right along the edge of what I believe to be a deep swamp (past the boundary), path is worn down the the ground along the edge of it. Came in and hung this set Sunday evening trimmed it out Monday and have let it sit since, haven't been able to get any pictures of deer on the camera because it fills up with leaf pictures in about 3 hours of setting it up. It's warm here this morning and bright as hell with the moon I didn't even need to use my headlamp on the way in, I've got a decent wind for this stand, not the best but there is a crp field to my northeast followed by a bean field, I've got good feeling about this stand. A little warm here today though it was 66 on my walk in sweating a little but I'm spraying down again good luck everyone out there!

All set up. It is still thick in here. Come later this weekend the foliage should drop due to steady winds. Working a creek bottom leading up to a thicket. First time I've ever hunted this spot but based on the sign I found it looks promising. Ground is soaking wet so I better be on point or they will be up on me in a hurry.
