Back in the big pecan tree, where the raccoon tried to take me out last year )
He's been here and left me a present in my seat.

My view is sweet for the next few hours. All I want is my first archery deer.

Just had a doe and fawn at 25 yards feeding in beans - mom was feeding and looking right at me. Passed on her, still time.

Just seen my 1st red fox come into the food plot walking around and marking his territory. Was cool to watch for a few min, just made this sit worth it. :)

Well nothing doing for the girlfriend and I. I can't wait to do some scouting for a new spot while still hunting tomorrow.

Well that sucked jut got picked off twice in about 2 mins. Had at least two come down the creek behind me and pick me off before I could even see them. Then either two different ones or same went on top of ridge behind me which puts them at pretty much eye level and picked me off hanging bow back up. Interesting night for sure. Neither time the deer watching out in corn feild ran off so guess that's good.
