I do believe that is the first bow kill I have seen of a legless creature. congrats

I climbed down about 9:30. Hung a few cameras, cleared a few lanes and checked out my other stand that had a wash out under it.

Wasn't near as bad as I had envisioned. Still safe to walk across and everything, edge has obviously moved but I normally have a dim light going anyway. Wouldn't chance a 4 wheeler across it though.

Edit: I'm a lucky idiot! Ordered Chinese carry out when I got back to town. Said it would be 20 minutes, went into a grocery store next door and then back and sat and waited. Took about 30 minutes. I forgot all about my bow being in the bed of the truck. Luckily no one felt the need, about hit a curb when I realized what I did and trying to see in the bed. Could have ended as bad as it started

Got into this spot two hours earlier than normal and still had deer here before me. Unbelievable.

Round 2. Sitting between cornfield and acorns. The wind is making it interesting.

I'm up over a creek and down in a bottom hoping it's less windy down here. Got up late but still hopeful. [IMG]

Inside corner of standing corn. I'm in 15yd wide finger the splits this with another standing corn field. It's my gusty S/W wind stand. More safe than anything.
