    He was an 8 or bigger... 100-120". Last light... And under 20 yards. This is my 2nd year bow hunting and he would have been a great first buck with my bow. At least I didn't wound him. He only ran about 40 yards and everything was fine.

    I ended up seeing a doe with fawn and a bunch of turkeys. Not much to write home about, but better than getting skunked!!

    Happy Monday! 30 mins till shooting light. Bumped one doe when I got to my spot. Hope there's more to come. Will definitely shoot a doe this morning and if I'm lucky a buck.

    All morning the wind was in the right direction. Now it decides to change direction and as a result I get winded by a deer that. I didn't even know was there.

    0 and 2 so far this morning.

    I thought it was worth a shot, I have the next 6 evenings off to hunt every day! The wife and kid went on vacation and I have nothing else to do but hunt, I feel like a single man again:)

    Well, us MD guys have a big task ahead of us.....been out since daybreak and haven't seen a thing in the stand.... Spooked 4 Does this morning walking in.... Getting down at 1:00 then bringing my 8yr Old Son out for a evening sit around 4ish.... Hopefully he's the the success bearer for me....

    The jacket you see in the above photos I took off and laid it in between my backpack and treestand on my back (which I always do) and tracked out almost a mile and it wasn't there, tracked back to the stand sight and spent over 45 mins looking and couldn't find it (wow I hate that) going back with son and looking.....

    Any thing but fawns for me, if I shoot a doe I get a bonus buck tag. Then I will have 2 buck tags in the pocket for the whole season.
