No deer out in Jersey yet. Hot though 75 and the sun is roasting me. Deer r gonna be late tonight.

 

No deer for me yet either did get to film geese an a bad *** owl thou. And I've taken 5 pisses so far. It's so windy needs to die down and lucky 7 or that wide 8 needs to walk past

73 and windy in Wisconsin but any night in the stand is a good one. Better if the deer cooperate.

 

Ended up leaving at 5:30 or so. Kids on dirt bikes flying up and down the power lines and all through the woods not 100 yds from me. Went up to my usual property and did some scouting.

 

Heading out now with my oldest boy. Hope it is his morning for his first kill.

 

Last sit in NJ till the first week of November. Great time being in the tree enjoying Gods creation. No venison in the freezer though. Not our normal trip. We have also not seen a single large buck, hunting or not, which is very odd. Lots of spikes and 4 pts. Lots of young does and fawns. Hope everyone has a fun and safe hunt this morning.
