What Sam said... Don't give up bro. You owe her more than that. It can be hard but try and stay optimistic and exhaust all options.

    Great job this morning guys!

Don't give up on that doe. Go to the last blood and start working in circles. They can go a long ways even on good shots.

Thanks guys! I got both lungs and liver, yet she still went close to 150 yards. Blood trail was crazy! NAP bloodrunner sure did a number on her. I'm still not sure how I got liver because she was perfectly broadside to me.

In the stand for the evening, definitely a lot of acorns down. A little warm but set near a oak flat with a lot of under growth and 50 yards from creek. Now bring on a big buck!

On a brand new piece of property. No idea what these deer do so I just walked in found a few big white oaks and climbed a tree. Let's hope that big 8 usually cruises by these oaks every night at say 5:30 or 6.

So, back to the house for breakfast. Then back in the woods to look for the doe from this morning. I some how managed to crawl back through all the underbrush for 200 yds and found last blood. I spent 2 more hours trying to find any more blood and also just crawling down these little deer tunnel trails in the briars and did not find any more blood or the doe. Feel sick about it but not much else I can do. Back to the house again to take a shower and head back out for a few hours this evening
