    I agree. If there is a chance you bump him sneaking out I would stay. If you can crawl out without bumping him then do that and go get some lunch and prepare the meat the pole.

    when in doubt, be patient.....slow it all down. If there is any doubt as to whether he will wind you and bolt or to whether you can find him again after getting your bow just sit there and listen/watch him.

    Right now with a dwindling blood trail, the best thing you have going for you is your are very close to him and every clue ups the odds in your favor without much of a blood trail.

    Just wait another 45 minutes let him bed down again and get back on the trail. He aint going far unless he hears, smells or sees you!

    Heck after 45 mins. I'd get up and walk back to the truck and get your bow then pick up the trail again! Better safe than sorry.

    You could get started on the hunt story write up for SAH....that way it doesn't take you like 3 months to complete it :evilgrin:
