Called it a day and probably a season at 1. 2 days in a row without even a distant sighting, just couldn't keep myself in stand the final 3 1/2 hours.

Pulled the lone wolf so don't have anything left in the woods I have to return for. Should get a storm system around the 20th, I might try for a hunt around then or maybe Christmas day, just depends what the weather is like. Have from 12/19 until 1/4 off

Got in the stand about 30 minutes ago. 27 degrees with 0-5mph winds... Have 1 nice 10 running around for sure. Showed himself at dusk 3 times 2 weeks ago when I wasn't in the stand.

One more shot with the bow before I call it a season. It is our muzzleloader season and normally I would be hunting with that, but I loaned it out to a buddies son. [IMG]

Well, I'm back in a tree in Arkansas. I my wife and I did our half marathon this morning and I drove over here.

I didn't make it to the spot I wanted to hunt. I just didn't have the energy to hike another half mile through the woods with all of my gear. :)

3 does and a nice young 8 have came by so far. I'm hoping for a decent surprise buck, but it's probably wishful thinking.

I ended up having one if the does come back by, but already came home. My wife and brother are going back with me this evening. They are both looking to shoot does. Could be a fun evening.

First time posting here in a while. Sitting in a blind with Trace, my youngest. Looking to shoot the first deer unlucky enough to walk by.

Rough day here. My youngest has the flu and it looks like my oldest dog is on her last leg. Might have to take her in to put her down. All this week's hunting is put on hold.

Sorry to hear about your dog. Hopefully she can pull through, that's something I'm not looking forward to with mine.

Thanks cls. However, we had to put her down a couple of hours ago. My oldest still doesn't know and won't until her bball game ends soon. Not fun.

Sorry to hear, a dog is always more than just a pet. I hate to think what it would be like without mine.

I think the neighboring property is baiting so that could be why I am not seeing deer
