I may go out for speckled trout in the morning instead of hunting. Anyone doing something besides hitting a deer stand?

Clipper is over producing here, supposed to get less than 1/2" of snow and got nearly 2" and is still snowing and looks to continue for a few more hours.

How can I not go tomorrow? Alarm set

Going to be starting off running late. Should have warmed up the truck earlier, windows covered with ice and don't feel like scraping them and pissing off the neighbors

Been a long time since we've had a few inches of snow on the ground thanksgiving day.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, and good luck to those heading out

All set up, really thought with all the snow on the ground it would be a little brighter. I can see, but looks like it will be well after legal time before I could shoot.

Didn't see anything but cars in ditches on the way, and only a few deer tracks in the snow heading in.

Sitting in the only stand to produce this year. Feels right, looks right now just need a little luck. Turning on the sight light just in case

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm in the stand on a new property. Hopefully a surprise buck will come by looking for a doe. Good luck everybody.

Had an undetermined coming in kind of crosswind. Got up wind of me and slowly ran off. This snow has them moving backwards.

Not sure what happened to all the turkey, haven't seen them for a few weeks.

    2 1/2 hours left

2 does and a button buck so far. I think I'm gonna shoot the next big doe if one comes by.

I climbed down about 8:30, knowing I wasn't sitting all day didn't really prepare for as cold as it is.

Heard one and seen one, still trying for a holiday deer.

I just got back in. 16* this morning and calm winds. It was an awesome sit even if I didn't see any deer. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I ended up seeing 4 does, 2 bucks, and a button buck. One of the bucks was a 3.5 year old 8 pointer and got to watch him breed a doe. Pretty cool stuff.

I hunted in TN this morning. I only saw a doe and a fawn. Had Thanksgiving dinner with my wife. Now I'm sitting in a tree in Arkansas.

Reports from clubs members are that the bucks are chasing.

I'm set up in a spot I know well but had to adjust for a north wind.

    We'll see.

LOL. Those was basically pet deer. They would almost let you hand feed them.
My wife and kids was sitting in lawn chairs right next to me watching these deer.
