    CO just stopped and talked to buddies girlfriend, and of course just realized if he makes it this way I have no tags, license, or FOID card on me. Feeling smart now. Ha

    Ha ha yea no kidding, it doesn't stick out or anything.

    Pretty cool just had probably 10-15 quail (sp? Again feeling stupid that don't know ha) go by on edge of feild.

    Just shot a buck, not monster but a decent 8 pointer. He came in right underneath my stand, looked up and started trotting off and I shot. He ran maybe 30 or 40 yards and fell down into ditch and haven't heard or seen him move since.

    If you had told me I was only going to see one deer all day I'd have said you're crazy. It should have been a great day.

    There are heavy thunderstorms forecast for tomorrow here so it looks like I'm stuck getting caught up on the honey-do list.
