Up and at 'em for another go with the 44 mag

I know what time it is and need to leave today  .Still got up early to make some breakfast before showering. Rains should be sparse and temps rising to the 50's. Only a small doe and a 125 8 point taken yesterday. The buck was taken from the same stand I killed my buck and doe from the previous two weekends.

Bucks are still on the move in daylight, just not on the end of the property I'm hunting.

I can't get skunked 2 days in a row, can I? We're about to find out. Might pull another all dayer if the rain holds out like forecast.

    Good luck everyone

Good luck today guys. I can't hunt again til thanksgiving. Gotta take pics for my wife this morning and cape out her buck. Time to process some deer today and tomorrow. It's a good problem to have.

I'm up, headed to sit in the stand. There is a front bringing rain Sunday. Hopefully the rain plus the rut will have something big (besides me) roaming the woods.

At least 6 deer in the cut corn field when I pulled in. Only antlers I seen was a spike or fork. Seen 1/2 a deer on the shoulder of the highway on the way. Hope they're moving this morning. Geared up for an all day sit as the rain should hold off until after dark.

Won't be hunting tomorrow. Nobody else here yet

Looking to finish up the season with one more doe for the freezer. It's drizzling sleet in NWI but should stop and be overcast all morning. We'll see if anything moves.

Bumped one as I was about to the stand. Had stopped to cool down and about 30 seconds after I stopped heard heavy hoofs beat path. Never blew or snorted and sounded like only one.

Hoping deer in the field was a good sign and they'll come through today. 3 minutes until legal time, 30 minutes for visibility.

Think me and my uncle may be the only ones here today. Haven't even heard him come down yet but he also likes to still hunt which could help me out as well.

I'm settled in at my buddies farm. Hung some steps last weekend in a new spot and hung my muddy this morning. He's set up on the edge of a crap field to my south east. Hoping to see some deer walking down this creek! After this gonna do a little squirrel hunting!

I'm in the wrong spot. Uncle came down 20 minutes ago and just shot. Might climb down when I see him go up to the house. If no one else is here I can move. Have heard 3 other shots from neighbors

Nothing is moving. This rain and fog must have them bedded down.

Thought I seen movement to my front left, was trying to look through the trees when I heard something to much right. 2 smaller does were on the edge of the pines/spruce and hurried back inside. Small fork was hot on their trail. Not sure if they busted me or he turned them around.

Perked my spirits a bit, now just need to see something ahead of time
