    Was impressingly light out on the walk in for being so close to the new moon.

    Looks like 5 others potentially hunting. They're 9 their way now can hear the 4 wheelers.

    Nice calm, clear and cold conditions.

    Safely in the stand. With the overcast skies it was darker than a sack of black cats this morning. What a difference a day makes, 36 degrees yesterday morning and 61 today. Feels like a sauna; hope I see a buck relaxing in the steam bath near my stand. :) Good luck everyone. Be safe.

    Not a sighting yet. 2 shots on the property. Uncle literally just shot, 1st was at 8:30.

    4 shots from neighboring properties. About to switch to meat mode, really don't want to hunt rain next two days

    Well just got back to truck so can run so can get some stuff done before heading out this afternoon. Only saw two does and of course the one was right on edge of field where if woulda waited maybe 10 more mins she woulda been in front of blind. Had about a 115 yard shot that would of been basically straight on so I passed, even with scope zeroed at 100 the angel was pretty bad.
