    A nice buck helped me out from an all day sit. I shot the 9 pointer I was after at 9:30 and then the work started because he ran down into one of the ravines. Congrats to everyone else that was lucky today.

    4 inches of fresh snow, no deer movement this weekend at all, 1.5 hour drive to work. Been a rough season so far but still time left.

    Good luck to all who are out today, while I will be starting my weekly 40 hour grind till the weekend.

    It's friggin cold in Illinois. Wind chill of -4 is unheard of for November here.

    However the deer seemed to like it. 2 does and 2 young bucks this morning, just need a shooter to play along now.

    hmmm....as i sit here buckless in 2014, the wind is blowing at 15-20mph...wind chills in the single digits.....pellet stove nice and warm....tempted to NOT go out today. Ehh...I hate being buckless though...not sure what I'm gonna do!!
