This is one spotty rut. Anyone else seeing this? One day everything is running and chasing like crazy the next everything is just feeding like normal and can't be bothered.

0 deer this morning. I haven't seen a deer in shooting light since opening week in October. This is getting ridiculous.

Well after missing two deer over the past 4 days was getting depressed and want to know what was up
So went to the range and shot
My bow was dialed in opening day and I took two does that day
Since then I have missed two other deer
My bow was now shooting 8inches low and 4 inches right
Lesson learned now guys always check your gear and I will be paying more attention to my gear during the season and not take anything for chance

Congrats to all those who were successful this weekend

Well, back to the grind tomorrow. In 12 hours I'll be awake and getting ready for work.

2 good sized deer in the freezer, I have no complaints, other than I went through a lot of my hand and toe warmers mid November

I'll see you guys next weekend, IL gun opener. Got my revolver sighted in Friday. I gun hunt from the same stands and distances I bow hunt, so not a big change for me.

4 does.. 2 bucks.. 3 coons and a bunch of turkeys.. The one buck may have got the arrow but I was so cold it took me to long to get to full draw and I got busted.
