16 degrees. Got within eyesight of my tree stand to sit and see a 140" 5x5 right near my tree. I waited for him to wonder off and climbed in. Haven't seen him since...#anyminutenow

There's an inch of snow on the ground here. Temperature is dropping fast!

The woods were like a library today. Quiet as I could ever remember.

The calm before the storm! My buddy shot a old mature deer this morning in MD, he was tending a doe and said 4 other bucks were running around trying to get her. I bet tomorrow will be a great day.

That's great for Maryland, what about Illinois? I hope to be in the stand before 3pm, then sit until dark, then back at it Saturday before sunrise and staying until late morning. Please make it be great here!

Holt, we are looking at 22 degrees in the morning here in Northern Virginia! Man I hope those temps get deer on their feet. I am going to my number one spot for the last day of my vacation. Fingers crossed.

Yea, I'm getting out in the morning too. I going to go for about 3 hours before work. You know its going to happen tomorrow, those bucks will make you wait til the last day of your vacation! I know you have been putting in some serious stand time, but it will all be worth it when you knock down another buck!

Finally seen a deer. Had the same nice 8 pointer pass by at 18 yards. 3rd time in 3 days. He's really pushing his luck.

I had deer every where tonight.. I drew back on a doe at 15 or 20 yards but I need 10 more minutes of light. Couldn't see her in my peep.

Took what I thought was a doe tonight. Turned out to be a nubbin buck. Now 3 more days to get a buck.
