Good luck today everybody. I just got home from work, so I'm fixing to go to bed. Hopefully when I get up I will see several deer down from you all.

15" of snow here in north central Wisconsin could only drive my truck so far in on the trsils (hunt public land) so had to walk a mile n a half through snow up to my knees

Lol, your wife comment made me laugh. It's been a year or 3, but it reminded me of someone on here, can't remember who though.

Anyhow, they talked about how they had gotten into stand and settled in when they started hearing yelling. It got closer and it was his name being yelled. Turns out it was his mom and she walked out to his stand calling for him the whole way. Turns out her battery was dead and she needed a jump start

Just envisioned your wife showing up and yelling you forgot your rangefinder  I need more sleep

This morning was a cavalcade of bad luck. I left the house without a trail camera I wanted to put out, parked my truck and got my bow only to discover I had lost one of my good tabs, closed my truck door and the alarm went off, had difficulty finding my tree, when I got to the tree my bowels started percolating so I had to choke that back, got up the tree and broke the snap clip on the strap to my seat pad then missed a shot at a doe at first light.
I sure hope the afternoon goes better!

Couple more does and a small 4 point following behind. Would have been a perfect 18 yard broadside shot. Now for a big guy to follow the same path.

Gun season is going to be very interesting in many parts of the state due to the deep snow.

We should have our first accumulating snow Saturday nigt/Sunday morning. It won't be major by any means, but a good coating will open the woods up big time. Looking forward to it, love sitting in the snow

I had the same problem but once I signed into tapatalk I had no problem. If you don't know your sign-in just follow the prompts when you attempt it and they will send the info to your email. You only have to do it once and it will stay on.

Tapatalk is the easiest way, but you can also use photo bucket or any other image hosting site.

I only use Tapatalk to upload pictures, use the regular net to read the forums. I hate the way Tapatalk is now having to always go through menus to get where you want.

Cold sit for me this morning. Temp actually is descent (upper 20s). Just the 6 degree wind chill got me finally. Saw 3 bucks cruising. The biggest one of which (120" 8) posed for me nice at 10 yards. No does though which is what I'm after now. Going to go warm up a bit take a nap then head to my dads blind for the evening.

Came out to the truck to eat and got a call from a friend in need. He wants me to help him change his kerosene heater wick. (not to hard to do). But the wind has really picked up here in the Old Dominion so I might forego the afternoon hunt, change the heater wick then get drunk with him, he just lost his job of 30+ years.
