Congrats to Ruger, nice buck man.

Cls your a animal if you was out today, I bout froze my butt off working and we didn't get the rain. I'm ready for cold but man that was a big switch in one day and wasn't expecting it. I should be out tomorrow though since don't haveta work so I'll be right there with ya.

I left just before 2, the cold I was fine with but that hour and a half of steady rain ended up being too much. Kept waiting for the sun to come out and at least get some radiant warmth but it never did and the temp.just kept dropping. When I left it was 35 with a 22 degree wind chill. My harness wouldn't let me shrug up to keep the wind out of my neck either, I need an ultimate camo scarf

Ha yea rain definitely woulda made it worse, especially when ya got bare skin showing. I always put my face mask on and just keep it down around my neck and it helps. Well good luck tomorrow man.

All settled in. 26 degrees and a high of 32. I think it's gonna be a good day. Big temp swing and got some nice deer activity on the cams. Good luck all.

Ohh man.. Got up a few min late.. Then had to use the little boys room just as I'm going out the door... The get over here getting dressed and can't find my range finder.. Get to the tree late and set the climber up then as I tie on my bow rope a nice buck comes in behind me @20... Me standing there with my bow rope in my hand! Good news is I think he was trailing a hot doe so he may not be the only one down my shooting lane.

Seen 4 does already this morning. Easy way to see deer....pour yourself a cup of coffee. Like magic they show up since I don't have anywhere to set it down.

No deer were hurt in this picture.

Just at very first light when you can make out game but colors aren't pronounced. I heard deer coming from behind me. A doe got about 12 yards broadside. I was still sitting and shot over her back. I don't think I bent at the waist. After the shot the other deer probably a buck chasing her snorted a few times then finally turned tail and left. The doe milled around for the next hour right outside shooting lanes.
It's almost 8:00 now. I'll check my arrow closely when I go to my truck at lunch. Then I'll go to the rear of the property to another tree.
