    Conditions seem to be shapin up nice here in southwest ohio. Spinkles now and the temp is starting to drop. Already saw a half rack 8pt. Will be 20 degrees cooler tomorrow and the rest of the week

    Congrats Ruger!

    I'm back on stand. With my first location being cut for timber I scrambled to find another location here in Mark Twain National Forest.

    I found a scrape line that is close to a small pond. There are some huge rubs along the way.

    There was no "bucktivity" at my last spot. I have high hopes for this one.

    Thanks for all the congrats guys. I'm not a writer like Rob/pa is but I will try and type up the story later. I will say this though I was on stand 7 hours and he was the third deer I saw today. Number two was the doe he was following. Made for a long sit.

    Just had a shooter and a small, wide 6 pt chase a doe under my stand. No clear shot. Then a spike back tracked the doe past me as well. UGH!
