The wind this year is getting old. Sadly it's not going anywhere.

I have yet to see a cruisee, think I was wrong about not being on lock down.

Does aren't moving unless being pushed 8n this stuff. Not sure I'll make it the full day. This moon and wind combination is deflating

My buddy got his first deer, a spike. We blood trailed him 75 yds and found him with the arrow still in him. Even if I dont get the kind of buck I want on my main spot this year, my season is a success. I am extremely happy for my friend.

Man Ruger, I need to get a spot in Harford to hunt on Sundays! I only get 2 Sundays a season here in Cecil. Good luck out there today and go kill something!

Very slow morning. Had a couple come in before sunrise but nothing after shooting light. I have yet to see any bumping or chasing going on.

Yeah, I'm too stubborn to leave. 10-15mph winds have turned into 21 sustained gusting to high 20's. A bit demoralizing, had to switch back to previous stand. 15 turkey just came through  so far Der have followed turkey.

One thing is for certain. A cooler of ice will be in my truck tomorrow, let them come back then

Time to start writing letters to Gov. Elect Hogan and start putting on the pressure to do away with that law altogether.

Back in the stand for the afternoon here in SE Indiana. Movement during the day has been slow. Majority of activity is taking place at night

Just got n my blind. Man is it thick in here!! It's going to be tough to get a shot in here, even with the smokepole. Lots of gun shots in past 10 minutes!!!

Feels like October again. Winds are dying down a little, nothing moving. Steelers playing like crap so can't even keep entertained with that.

Juvenile raccoon just came out, odd time of day.

I lost the blood trail this morning. I crawled through briar thickets and successfully followed the trail through a maze of briars.

I sent Tony a pic of what I was trailing through. Maybe he"ll post it.

I finally got through the thicket and into somewhat open woods (meaning I could stand up) and lost the trail.

After my brother got out of church we went back and he picked the trail up immediately. We found her around 100 yards from where I lost the trail.

It wasn't a double lung shot. I guess she was quartering away and I didn't even realize it. It was a single lung shot. Don't I feel stupid now. Just goes to show you that some of those shots you think are perfect really aren't.

Anyway, the count for this trip is one buck and one doe.
